so there is a text in front of you and I am going to read from this text and I am going to ask you to start reading at some point
there are different points or sections that are numbered
so when I tell you to start reading keep reading in a comfortable voice; as loud as you want, as slowly or as quickly as you want
but keep reading until I tell you to stop, no matter if you see another number, just keep reading until I tell you to stop and then I may ask you to start and then stop at another point
so we will continue like this and work through the text together
This reading performance took place on Saturday 21st September, 2013 – The final day of A Letter to Lucy, Contemporary Art Responses for the 1913 Lockout Centenary curated by Helen Carey in Pallas Projects / Studios. The source material for the readings was comprised of excerpts from The Castle by Franz Kafka.
